Barry Brown is the Head of Systems Engineering & Safety Assurance at HKRP, providing senior leadership across systems engineering, safety assurance, and regulatory compliance for complex, safety‑critical programs. With over 27 years of international experience across rail, defence, aviation, and maritime sectors, he brings a rigorous, process‑led approach to delivering regulator‑ready outcomes.
Barry has led assurance activities across the full system lifecycle, translating standards such as ISO/IEC 15288 and EN 50126/50128/50129 into practical, defensible strategies. He is recognised for his ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams, provide independent technical judgement, and ensure consistent, high‑quality safety outcomes for clients.
