The Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) engaged HKRP to provide engineering services to support the Smart TransLink Ticketing Project to deliver a new innovative ticketing solution for Queensland public transport.
HKRP are providing Electrical Engineering Assurance services with the following responsibilities of review and validation of Data Items (DIs) against Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) specified as part of the project agreement (or in their absence, against industry best-practice for equivalent documents) as delivered by the supplier for the program electrical works.
Identified Data Items and documents included the system and subsystem specifications. The electrical design for the ticketing system platform infrastructure and the external electrical interface specifications.
HKRP also conducted site survey reports, site specific installation plans and the installation acceptance test plans and reports.
We understand what is required for projects of this nature and have provided in-depth technical expertise and knowledge to the program regarding relevant legislation and industry standards compliance.
Translink is working with HKRP on an ongoing basis during this project.
